Heonmi Heongeum

In May and September, months dedicated to Heonmi Heongeum donation, we make an offering in the spirit of sharing a handful of rice for neighbors in need.

The Heonmi Heongeum movement is a sharing campaign in which we set aside a handful of rice on each meal and offer it to Jesus and our neighbors. Through Heonmi Heongeum we practice Jesus' spirit of the Eucharist in everyday life, which he wanted to share with the poor and isolated. The actual offering is made in cash, equivalent to the value of rice gathered in each meal.
