“Wash One Another's feet.”
Warm greetings from OBOS!
As you may know, OBOS was initiated along with the 44th International Eucharistic Congress held in Seoul in 1989, willing to apply profound meaning of Eucharist to our daily life.
We have invited all of you to a world where everyone practices love and sharing in their everyday life in conformity with the spirit of Eucharistic Sacrament.
First of all, OBOS does international development cooperation program and humanitarian assistance to end poverty and promote social justice in more than 50 countries around the world. We are also involved in Global Citizenship Education, International Volunteer Program - Tiatnuri or long-term volunteer activities - and 'End Poverty' Campaign to make a difference with people in the future.
In addition, we make efforts to practice love and sharing for the poor and vulnerable by promoting life-sharing movement such the donation of organs, hematopoietic stem cell and blood for the sick, and encouraging suicide prevention movement.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your love and concern that have brought hope and happiness to our brothers and sisters in poverty around the world and made a difference in their life. May the world be filled with the blessings of love, peace and joy through OBOS.
We always pray that God brings peace and grace to your family and community. Thank you for your continuous support and dedication.
Sincerely Yours,
Bishop Timothy Gyoungchon YU
